Developed with and for the PFFA and Local 493, the Firefighter Mobile App helps Locals and Organizations maintain organized communication with their members, and encourages members to keep their own information up to date.

Firefighter Mobile supports categorized news articles, as well as links to web based news articles. Keep your members up to date with the news and information important to them.

The shift calendar currently supports 1-2, 2-4 and 3-4 24 hour shift schedules.  You can change the calendar view to monthly, weekly or daily view, add personal notes and fully customize the color and appearance to suit your taste.

Stations are displayed as a contact card per station that is organized by region/city and station name.  Each station can display an image, address, phone number (with call button), map link and other information.

Contacts are organized by city / region, and can be sub-categorized within each city and region.  Contacts can include a photo, full contact information with multiple numbers, contact buttons for calling, emailing, or texting, and a map link to their posted address.

One of the most flexible App functions, this allows a categorized list of resources, including articles, documents (PDF, Word, Excel, etc), links to external websites and YouTube videos.

Push notifications, alerting members to events, drawing attention to the app.

The app can be skinned for each Local, creating a unique identity, as well as supporting their choice of included or displayed modules. Each member may also customize elements to their own taste.

The Firefighter Mobile app supports multiple options for each organization in how they wish to manage access to their app. Users can be allowed full access after registering, allowed to register but require approval, or be authenticated against an existing data set provided by the organization.

Each Local has full access to the back end management of their app, allowing them to post news articles, manage accounts, resources, etc.

The Firefighter Mobile app is fully compatible and available on Android and iOS devices.

The Firefighter Mobile App is being continuously updated and improved to ensure continued compatibility with new devices, features are refined, etc.

The Firefighter Mobile App was developed in conjunction with the PFFA and the Local 493, to ensure the application suits both large, small and inter-related organizations.
